Prologue

I had been lucky enough to get into one of the most wonderful educational institute, something that could gaurantee a long term employment, even in these turbulent times. there has been a well laid out path of predecessors who toiled ages to build the brand to lay the flower path that i can haugthily trod upon. All I need to do is execute the well laid out plan and strategy, start as an intern prove your worth and then there is no stopping your rise.

but then the eternal debate bug bit me......its always been exploration versus execution. ofcourse key in both is "successfully"....finding new paths, leading to success is always a low probability....its almost termed insane.....very few, if any, of your own at your side..... versus.......success in known world ...was always comfortable.......with a minimum security..........but the debate is still on......who would have given so many paths to travel.....if everyone wanted the comfort zone.

the same debate appeared in my CAT-interview.......why did i choose to quit a comfortable public sector job.........with all its salary and perks...promotion gauranteed every 3 years......may be a year delayed if i am too bad.....and salary revisions every 5 years........... to get into an MBA at so late stage....at 26 that time...i was rather old for an indian MBA......and exec MBA's are unknown yet..........
